sometimes things seem to improve and we start to feel like maybe as we age and become more "mature" things will feel less scary and out of control. There are little moments like that where we feel like we might e able to achieve our goals.

But none it is real. It's all an illusion.

At least in my case, the future will always be beyond dreadful. I find it horrific and unbearable to think about existing for potentially many more decades. It just cannot happen. There is no point to being here when instead I could already be peacefully not existing. The human life expectancy is far too long, yet so many people just accept this and see reaching a very old age as being something so normal, yet to me this is disturbing. Those types of people are certainly insane to me.

I think this is not true.

There are people who enjoy life, people who want to live. For example my friends they are very scared a possible nuclear war could kill them.

There are many people who recovered from suicidality and depression. Look at the recovery sub-forum. I think life can get better. Some actually achieved their goals.

Not me for sure. But the recovery sub-forum proves these statements wrong. Of course not everyone but your statements sound like there was a natural law for that.

You can vent for sure. But it just does represent a common law. Some people might believe that. That it also applies to their lives and that this would be a factual statement.

I don't know why people keep saying that life gets better when we know that we all age, sicken and die in the end. The universe doesn't give a hoot about us!

I believe that. and this is a factual statement from me. I'm allowed to make factual statements without having to write a 80 pages long thesis or some shit.

In my opinion as I said I think the recovery sub-forum shows that "the future will never not be dreadfull" does not apply to everyone. Due to the fact you used the pronoun "we" I interpreted that this is a universal statement. This is why I questioned the implications of your words.
