i get hot very easily and don't always wanna run the ac - it is expensive. i've been keeping cold water bottles / ice packs on my feet and wrists and run like 2 fans on each side of me. eating frozen grapes and fruits and chugging cold water helps too. hope u guys find ways to stay cool.

There´s no "European heatwave". I live in central Europe and temperatures have been most pleasant up to now, especially by night.

Don't get me started lol. I've literally just fled London for the Kent coast which is a lot more bearable. Hell is a hot, not a cold place, for a reason! I have an air cooling fan where you put ice water in the back, but honestly the difference is negligible even using four ice packs lol. Next week it's set to get even hotter. The UK climate has changed noticeably in recent years. Where are the cool cloudy rainy conditions we were known for? the ground is parched and we barely ever get serious rain or a thunderstorm anymore.

I cannot remember the source but I remember discussing with someone that heat increases mental health issues, and in some cases physical too.

I personally know both my BPD and CFS are much much worse if I get hot. I'm super susceptible to heat stroke now.

Suicide trends in a year typically peak at their highest in early summer, which technically started 3 weeks ago in the U.K, so I guess we're right on target.. the heat definitely makes daily life much more uncomfortable on top of all our daily stresses and sadness.

What a fucking nightmare. It's that way here in Texas too and its horrible but we all have A/C up the ass and I'm assuming you guys don't. Bidens climate package got shot down in Congress by Republicans + a profiteering coal baron Democrat hick senator and things are going to continue to get worse. Plus Trumps evangelical nutball Supreme Court ghouls decided the EPA isn't allowed to do their job.
