Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.
This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

On my 2nd attempt, I had handwritten notes ready for the few people that I could count on to get a hug, smile and/or have a laugh with. Sorry, but it REALLY makes me very sad to think about you and this coming Monday. I have been on Sanctioned Suicide for like 7 months or so, and you were one of the 1st to say hi and make me feel good about myself. Hmm alright. I asked one friend of mine her email and she just gave it to me and then some days later she asked me why I asked for her email. I answered "to have it handy" (I'm sorry, English is not my main language) and she didn't answer anything at all. She knows I'm suicidal and she doesn't talk about this with me anymore, because it's too much for her. So I guess she might know, but she won't do anything, it's too much for her. Fine by me, am I right? Haha!
