Hello I was wondering what others have tried and found best to induce sleep for an SN overdose. I will list what I have tested, bare in mind I have no prior benzo use, maybe a small alcohol tolerance but I have not been drinking much at all recently, especially on the days where I was testing the benzos.

5mg Lorazepam - Didn't do much, made me stop caring about things somewhat, started feeling ready for bed about about 1.5 hours.
40mg Temazepam - Took 1-1.5 hours to really kick in unlike the 30 minutes it claims, it worked well for stopping me caring about things and made it easy for me to fall asleep.
2mg Alrpazolam (Xanax) - Took me about 1h10m-1h40m to start feeling ready for bed. It was not as useful as the Temazepam for putting me to sleep, but it kept me asleep for a long time, I've usually been sleeping 8-9 hours but I was asleep for over 14 hours with this and I've woken up feeling groggy. In fact I think I am feeling more of the "not caring" aspect this afternoon than last night when I took it.

I've not really had any memory loss or blackouts from any of these.

I am not sure exactly what to do here. I am thinking about testing Midazolam as it is meant to be even stronger for knocking you out. I am considering trying to down a lot more Xanax and seeing what happens, like 30mg. I have also heard Etizolam is worth trying.

I am just not trying to give myself a benzo addiction though :))
If it's too risky going forward I think I might just choose 60-80mg Temazepam.

Thankyou to the following for your posts on this forum that guided me with this:

@Spiko
@Memento Mori

And many others I am sure I missed.

I dont think benzos help with side effects of SN, you would need to time it perfectly to black out minutes after drinking SN. It would only maybe help with the seizures. But idk. It may lower the fear of it, but i really dont think it helps in anyway with the symptoms of SN poisoning. Its not like with amitriptyline where the lethal drug kicks in when you are fully sedated and asleep. I dont know who started this SN + Benzo meme. Imo it makes no sense.

Thanks for the feedback, I can tell you it will definitely help take any nerves away, especially if you're an anxious type of person. I am just in seek of one that has the strongest sedation abilities for me, and I have seen posts around here of people claiming x amount of y knocks them out in 15-20 minutes.

Can you say more about using Amitriptyline? Does that itself put you to sleep? Like N?

My idea was exactly to blackout before SN kicks in. I think if you time it good it is possible.

A megadose of benzos, then take the SN glass to your mouth. Drink it the moment you feel the first glimpse of dizziness.

But it's possible that you would instantly blackout after some time or you think that there would be a moment of dizziness?

The oral route takes time, but you're right: Can set in very quickly. That's why I said be prepared and keep the glass close to your mouth
