I totally agree ... from my earliest days , I always used to compare techno to some repetitive beaty sounding old orchestral stuff ... My all time fave made an album of remixed orchestral stuff , just one track , delayed , etc , back in the eighties that I had never heard of ... (not really what I was describing , but it's similair ...)

Ohhh I LOVE it so much! I think I've watched it few dozen times, since found it 3 years ago.
that's really more a movie than just a dj set. Love those characters.
