How can people reject nostalgia ? When it can fill you, with so little ...friction ? handled well.
All the names sound utterly exotic and evocative of an impossible place. I'd go just because it doesn't appear to exist.

It exists in fantasy. But Ireland is a fantasy. All the stereotypical representations (memes? tropes?) of Ireland don't do it justice. It's like living in an episode of Father Ted in perpetuity.

Weird to see it en Francais, but I did drive around Connemara and enjoyed every ethereal moment. It was like driving around on the moon. Empty roads. The only thing I encountered were donkies and sheep dogs trained to chase cars.

Ahhhhh JW...just keep watching...I used to go and watch this guy just to see his amazing trousers...the Eagles reformed just to try and keep him alive...

Listening to this and...whatever the genre, IMO the finest guitarist, drummer, lyricist, harmonics and songwriting that ever existed. As the song progressed, it accelerated and upped the ante to reach a crescendo that has never been matched and probably never will. JB enters at the end, where he belongs, and feeds off JP to create a musical narrative fanfare that is sustained to the end. The ending enfolds in every aspect of the musical story and carries the message through to the climax. Nothing like this ever happened again.

Really surprised to see Michel on here. Not uber fan of the guy but damn I love his songs and his singing.
