Someone posted this on my blog's guestbook.
It's just like, why is the burden on me to recover. Why is that my job?
They didn't actually give a reason why I should listen to them.

nice... intentions... maybe? Weird ass execution though. I hadn't heard "maniacally laugh about everything" and "doing nothing at all" as solutions to suicidality, gotta give them that.
I'd just quit that job. It's up to you to recover if you want to, not your burden, not anyone else's either, but you definetly shouldn't owe explanations to anyone... or to this fella who wants to be your new boss.

Yea I saw that, they are a fluffing terrible with what they said. You didn't ask for this life, you didn't ask to suffer, you are not obligated to recover at all. No one should have to try recovery first, especially with doing such drastic actions as what they are saying. Ultimately its up to you where staying alive is worth it and what risky path you want to take with whether it be getting better or to ctb.

The issue with this thinking is that from the outside looking in, every problem has a "solution". Actually achieving that solution isn't as easy as clicking your heels three times and making a wish.

As for the suggestion to escape to a totally different country, take it from someone who's done that three times already: it doesn't work. Life follows you everywhere. Never mind the huge economic burden it is to up sticks and go somewhere else.
For the laughing thing, I was known for my obnoxiously loud laugh prior to recent events - people have commented on how I don't laugh like I used to even - so no, laughter isn't the best medicine, I was still miserable even with a loud laugh.

There are legitimate forms of recovery, but this person has listed a grand total of zero. A+ for effort though, hope they feel like they've saved a life with that one.

Some people want to be heroes so bad. I wish they would just do some actual good in their community instead of virtue signaling at people who are struggling

I would reply

I Don't have to endure any suffering much less unbearable pain or extreme suffering . For what reason?

There is no reason nothing matters to me except me avoiding unbearable pain or extreme suffering

Why do I have to live another minute in this hell?

We all will die anyway so my job they say is to endure suffering untill I die anyway. Why prolong the suffering?

Whoever wrote that is starting wth an idea that is sensible, and that probably everyone here would agree with - don't ctb wthout a very good reason - but then taking it to such an extreme that it becomes absurd. Nobody needs to take absurdity seriously.

This is ridiculous and you owe precisely ZERO people an explanation on why you feel the way you do, much less a stranger in the internet that's sticking their nose in business that doesn't concern them. There is a way to express concern and then there's just being ignorant and belligerent. I hope you don't even respond to this comment, because it's not worth a second of your time.

I wish I had something constructive to add to your thread. But all I can say is this person needs to stay in their own lane and get the hell out of yours. Or possibly learn some tact before trying to sound like they're coming from a genuine place of concern for you.

That is just cruel to me, I see so much cruelty in how people like that wish to force others to suffer no matter what, I just wish there's acceptance towards the personal choice when to cease existing because after all it's our existence, not other people's.
