  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Every person in his life - especially someone over 30 understands - that the peak of life has already passed or has just passed. How do people deal with these situations?

I'll be 42 shortly. In terms of my peak - physical attractiveness and athletic performance are behind me, maybe fast mental processing and physical health as well although both are marginal. But I can speak and write now in a way that people seem more interested to hear. I think I understand myself, people and the world better than I did at 30. And I expect my peak is still to come in those regards, and may be a long way off yet.

I think you can play to your strengths and not be too concerned about it. There's advantages and disadvantages to being 20 vs 40 and its not obvious to me which is preferable.

Biologically, depending on lifestyle and genetics, there is definitely such a curve. However, due to the living conditions of most people today, one gets older on average.

From a life-technical and psychological point of view, this can of course look very different for each individual. Sometimes you notice this breakpoint yourself.

I don't think the curve is in anyway linear, there are ongoing peaks and troughs and the troughs get more frequent.
