I don't know if I'll continue or not.

The only reason I'm not dead right now is Because I purposely backed out.

I really thought I was going to go through with my suicide and die but I'm still here, so.

Suicide is one of the hardest things to do so it's understandable if you are having trouble with doing it even if living at the moment is miserable. If you aren't able to do it now, are you able to do it on a different day? If so you don't have to worry about an escape plan from life not being able to be done in the future. Tho I can understand if you are upset with not being able to do it at the moment as you are desperate for a way out of the pain you are in. Whatever you decide to do is okay<3

I don't think the tilde (~) generally means that. I think it's more like whimsical and silly and happy.

I mean it's just drinking some salty water with anti-emetics beforehand, no pain, no blood

While physically it's somewhat easy as you just have to fast for a bit and try to not vomit as much as you can (easier with antiemetics) and deal with some unpleasant symptoms but it's hard to do it emotionally as you have to get past SI as well as fear of death or regrets if you die now if you have those things.

Yeah, I'll be able to do it tomorrow with no one around. I just need to get it done before the holidays. I don't know why I'm hesitating. It's why I wanted to get a partner or something. I wish assisted suicides we're more legal.

I tried three times the other night. I got so close, vomited again. Partial hanging, used the sock around my neck like you did.

It doesn't happen quick. I need some thing for sedation.

That's the complete opposite experience I had.
For the vomit I mentioned earlier barely nothing came out. I didn't eat anything 24 hours before and nothing during the day. Which is definitely why I think I didn't vomit everywhere.
What helped me really get it right is those threads that show examples of partial hangings from websites on WPD. It gives a visual a visual on what positions work.

I heard like 50% of people final hanging or something. Try what I did, maybe? I hope you find a way.

@Wezzy777 OMGosh!! I am so happy to see you!! (I'm sorry if that's selfish.) My kiddo tells me honest to a fault -- he might be onto something.

Anyway!! I so glad you survived without any negative side effects?? Is that what I should call them?? Injuries?? Hell, I dunno, but anyway you have actually made my day. I was pretty bummed because my old man starts his days' off from work today and he always makes my anxiety a thousand times worse when he's around. But I think I'll just remind myself that today started out exceedingly well because you are still with me. Us?? Yeah, ALL OF US!!

WHO would have ever thought a grumpy, pissy old woman like me would become so attached to a bunch of people she will never meet?? Not me! But here I am!!

I hope everyone who reads this remembers that some days turn out okay even if, actually even when, you have no reason to expect it. May the spirits guide us all and keep you safe.

People on this site are nice when I posted my plans for killing myself s few people tried to help. Which managed to offset my suicide date for a few days.
But I can't do this anymore.
I ended up tying a noose knot beverages of some threads I've seen it's better than a slipknot.
I'm doing partial suspension and if I fail that I'll go with full suspension.
I haven't taken anything to help with nerves, I'm just going all in. Written my suicide note, ready to go.
I really appreciate this site existing.
I'm going to do it in a an hour in 30 minutes. No one be checking In on me. . I'll linger on this site a few minutes before I go.

When I'm about to hang myself I'll log out and clear the last bits of things on my phone. If I'm not on this site tomorrow, I'm dead.
