Teenagers hanging themselves in their rooms

There seems to be a lot of teenagers that hang themselves in their bedrooms. IDK how they are doing that? They wouldn't be able to hang off a wardrobe railing - is it on a doorknob or what? I just don't understand how it keeps on happening.
It's like they impulsively wing it and it works. While others spend weeks researching and get no results.
Or take celebrities for another example, high profile cases use only a belt? How do you even attach a belt to an anchor point and then around your neck? Still have yet to find that answer anywhere.
