Does anyone know how many antidepressants a person could take to fall asleep for a while but not CTB? Is this even possible?
I am taking 20mg of Prozac everyday and I've taken as much as 4 of them some nights but nothing ever happens. I just want to take a few of them to help me fall asleep when I feel suicidal or don't want to stay awake. Any advice is appreciated ^^

They aren't a very good sleep aid, and in fact many of them have the opposite effect on the brain (hence insomnia being a common side effect of antidepressants). If you're just looking for something to help you sleep, speak to your local pharmacy and get something like promethazine or similar.

Mirtazapine has sleep inducing effects and is classed as an anti-depressant. I think it was originally developed as a anti-histamine type medication hence the effect. Its quite an easy one to get prescribed, just refer to a friend having great results with it etc.
