Ok this is a long shot...

A little bit of explanation first. I was very suicidal a few months ago. Got treatment and I'm feeling better now. While I don't feel the urge to kill myself at the moment (I might relapse and come back begging for hanging tips soon though), I keep thinking about the subject of suicide -not mine but the subject itself- plus the strong bond with your guys in here (I feel "normal" here) and I thought about doing something about it.

Is anyone else willing to study this matter seriously?. I have a few ideas about collecting money and buying material on suicidology then uploading it to this site (if there is any legal issue we keep it to ourselves)

But I need to know if there are more people interested in such thing.

Suicidology is scam since the day it has banned itself faraway from acknowledging Right To Die.

I've felt better for one week, but if my suicidal thoughts come back the way they have been and I am bedridden again, I am doing a Whitney!!!

I will always support the right to die, while encouraging people to try medication as it has helped me (but I'm on medication nuimber 3 or 5 or something...And have tried every drug under the sun too...

Some experiences just lead people to feeling suicidal, and some genetics

I saw your posts on the other topic.

Suicidology is a field of study right? Its not word for a philosophy with very specific views, right? (I have no knowledge about it).

Its no surprise that any field, let alone one with a lot of people of the medical area, is dominated by pro-lifers, but if its just a broad term for studies about a certain topic, it can't be invalidaded like this, right? I suppose there is no rule saying that someone can't study or even write and speak out in disagreement with the main thinkers of the field.

I think those self-proclaimed suicidologists in the news today is 100% suicide-preventologists. They love prevention and their only aim is to prevent, nothing more successful for them than a failed suicide attempt, which is true disaster for suicidal people.

I've seen only very small number of professionals that are really studying about suicide from a suicidal perspective, let's say dr. Philip Nitschke (banned by medical association and burnt his medical certificate) and Sean Davison (sentenced to prison).
