  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Some time ago I heard somebody saying that suicides begin at home. I can't remember what this person really meant . Do you think difficult situation at home usually drives people to suicide ? I know one example when a women suicided because of difficulties in her family. Do you think guys that most suicides are related to difficult situation at home ?

Home situation or lack of one, financial problems, physical pain, unmet social/sexual needs, mental illness along with being super cool and awesome seem to be the biggest factors for cingtb.

I agree with it but I won't completely agree with it. For me it was at home yes but I'm sure it's not that way for everyone. (talking specifically about the abuse type of suicide and not physical problems or other reason) for some it could be they've been bullied in school although their home life was fine. There's a lot of possibilities to drive someone to suicide.
