Method Suicide with eyedrops and alcohol?

Has anyone heard of this before? I saw it on Twitter and the comments were all corroborating it. But this is brand new to me. What do you think?

The passing out part is what I'm most interested in. I wonder if I can add it to my plan (partial hanging).... but it lowkey sounds like a recipe to make your stomach hurt...

i've studied substances and done a couple for a while, and I never knew about eye drops. this is insane, I'm gonna do this to get high lol.

But now that I'm reading this, I checked Wikipedia, and it says the lethal dose of the active ingredient is just 0.01 mg per kg.

Can that be right? A small vial like that says it contains 0.5 mg/ml, and there are 10 ml in it. That would be 5 mg.

So, a single bottle would be lethal? That can't be right, surely?

I'm not sure where you got that lethal dose figure from.
I've looked a bit and found an LD50 of 785 mg/kg in rats and 345 mg/kg in mice, which is a lot.

Watching a show where a girl is using eyedrops to comatose men and stealing their money at casinos she says more than two drops ingested will kill you. Anyone heard of this before?
