I think it would be disingenuous of me to say I've made any honest, thought-through attempts like I am planning now.
Most of my past incidents can be chalked up as "cornered animal attacking itself".
I have been trying my best to stay calm so I don't resort to any haphazard, half-baked measures, the next time I attempt it will be with grit and I must succeed.
(Also, I did "try" the hanging method but it made my eyeballs feel like they were being squeezed out of my skull, no thanks.)

Interesting poll! I've tried once, but that attempt wasn't really serious (much more impulsive -- I made the decision the day of)
