Discussion Suicide is the ultimate payback?

Imagine if suicide was legal and accepted. The people who would kill themselves most often would be the victims of intense trauma. The survivors which would live and replicate would be the abusers. Evolution points to the fact we are what keeps society from running afoul. What do you think would happen to humanity if the only survivors were Trumps and Hitler's. They would all just be fucking with each other to the point of distruction because we wouldn't be there to complain or resist. Which begs the question which is better a tortuous end or an endless torture?

Interesting scenario. I would say that by nature, the survivors would then try to create new victims out of their new class/feudal type system and failing that, I suppose eventually they'll wipe each other out. Or alternatively, they might just repopulate (after all the extreme ones on both sides have become extinct). Then the cycle of suffering and what not starts anew.

There's a lot of people fighting these abusers. There's a lot of people trying their best to help others through the darkness and find a way to make their lives better.

I don't know about you, but i am just one of the casualties of that war. I have faith in the people who will keep fighting.

Let's imagine that all leaders got wiped out.
Other people would take their place immediately. Even if the entire chain of succession established in the United States were to be wiped out, someone would probably still step up, take the position, become the new "alpha" and then act abusively.

Even if everyone died except for the top 1% of "alpha" humans, they would still create social divisions. It's a part of human nature, although it used to be less extreme in times when humanity was more rural and even tribal.

They would all just be fucking with each other to the point of destruction because we wouldn't be there to complain or resist.

There are very few leaders I can think of who were irrational to the point of willing to risk complete destruction, let alone those who would be willing to risk it against the odds, let alone those who would do it with no chance of victory. Even Hirohito bent the knee to the Allies in time. Hitler did risk it against the odds, but if he took Moscow (and didn't declare war on Britain or the U.S.), he could have potentially had the advantage.

There are only three countries I can think of that completely shot themselves in the foot: Cambodia, Equatorial Guinea, and Rwanda. Even then, I suspect only Equatorial Guinea would be run by someone crazy enough to actually use nukes at random if they had them.

I will have to agree with this. If only abusers survived then there would be no one to abuse so they would just create new victims or humans may just become extinct. I think that how abuser/victim system works in our society is similiar to how predator/herbivore system works in nature. Population of abusers is too dependent on their victims, they can't create anything themselves so they need people from which they could take things from. If world was full of only kind people than surely someone who would abuse these people would appear. So, if reverse was true, and world was full of sociopaths that don't trust eachother, then for sure some people would have to accept role of victim so human population could stay alive. It's just neverending cycle of suffering until we become extinct.

When there's a balance problem something happens to put things back into balance. Good people wouldn't stop being born, people who would speak out against unjust treatment and policies. It's just not enough people on the good side fighting. That's why the abusers are winning rn. This is why victims in plenty of cases get treated worse than the abuser. The system itself is ran by abusers so why wouldn't it indirectly reward people who adopted the dog eat dog mindset. What would be best is a torturous end but it'll be an endless torture because humanity is worse than cockroaches in terms of survival. We'll always find a way to keep this garbage system going.
