• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As someone who first thought of ctb at 14 (35 years ago), I completely understand.

As a parent of a 14 y/o who also had their own desires to recently ctb, it distresses me. (Both cases as hetero)

Teens face enough challenges with changing hormones, peer group pressure etc. Add to that the complexities of also having to deal with the fact that your sexuality is considered outside of the "Norm", it's completely understandable why their percentages are higher.

It would be interesting to compare this data to 30/40 years ago, although I doubt such data in this form would exist from back then. It was a lot more socially unacceptable to be anything but hetero with many people staying safely within the closet.
