I have severe depression and have suffered from psychosis in the past. I attempted to ctb last time with yew seeds. My mum found the yew seeds & binned them. Also, after doing thorough research, I realized that they have a low success rate. My mum- a religious Muslim- does not want me to ctb. So, she is doing her best to control me.
As hanging has a 30% rate of failure, I'm not willing to risk it.
Currently, I live in Europe, but I'm seriously considering immigrating to America so I can ctb by gunshot.
Would that be a good idea? I could tell my family that i'm there for a job.
If anyone is willing to chat, I'd be quite glad!

Yes, because i have no other way to ctb. Hanging is too risky if it fails.

Haven't tried due to the high failure rate. Unless you can find a very tall building & even then it is messy.

It just seems like there is significantly easier ways than having to immigrate to a foreign country and then try to obtain a gun legally as an immigrant. This sounds like a very long complicated process.

I know it may seem that way, but I don't have the hand-eye coordination necessary to hang myself. This is my only shot. Plus, my mum won't let me get hold of any chemicals.

If hanging is too mechanically complicated for you to do physically then are you not concerned that operating a gun properly would be as well? If you shoot yourself wrong you're in for a horrible world of trouble.

True, but I don't understand the mechanics of hanging. I understand the mechanics of a shot to the brain. All I would have to do is aim the shotgun to my temple.

Full suspension is nothing more than that, like jumping from a bridge with a rope around your neck, nothing special. With the gun you should also know where to place it correctly and which gun you should use

I don't have anything to hang myself with at home, though. No belts or ties. Could I do it with a scarf?

Also you don't wanna shoot your self in the temple as it has a higher fail rate. Also 10 years is a long time.

If you do go the gun route do research. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you wear your suppose to aim but it's not hard to find. Best of wishes!

I tied the scarf round my neck and squeezed down on my cartoid artery. I pulled the scarf. It didn't work.
