Suicidal friends is a bad idea

I have been supporting someone online for a while now. This person is also suicidal like me.
We have supported each other through some dreadful times, and have told each other everything.
This person lives in another country from me.
I have grown very fond of this person over time, and have always been there for them, just as they have been for me.
We have communicated every day without fail.
Yet this person sent me a message a few minutes ago:
" So sorry my friend. You have helped me more than enough, but now I have to leave for good. There is nothing you could have done to help me anymore and none of this is your fault.
I have valued your friendship and support more than you can ever imagine. You have been a true friend, and I love you dearly.
Please do not be sad for me.
Please be glad that I will have finally found peace.
Goodbye my friend.

I'm shaking and sobbing right now and worried sick. We always promised each other that we would give fair warning to each other when we were ready to ctb.
So this has come as a shock, because ***** never mentioned the intention that she was ready to go.

I'm a fucking wreck.

Yh I can understand this is really painful, something similar happened to me as well. Sending virtual hugs your way! If you are able to, take a break from work or anything that you could be busy with and don't overstrain yourself in a difficult time such as this

That's the kick, tho. So many of us are here til we hit our breaking point, and that doesn't come with much warning. You were a good friend, and you know that cuz they said so. As far as notes go, that one says it all. Sorry for your loss.
And it's not a bad idea. You were there for someone who probably had no one. It was worth it.
