If I took a shower and my hair air dries in the room with the SN, would it create humidity and a bad environment for the SN? Or if I simply spilled water in the room and it dries?
lol i love the way you put it. hes right though. that amount of water is so little i really wouldnt worry about itIt's okay. Relax. Breathe.
this. unless the op talk about SN solutionDude (or dudette) I understand being twitchy about your SN maintaining its integrity, but this is getting a tad ridiculous lol. If your SN isn't already in an airtight container, it should be. If it is, humidity is not going to bother it at all. Certainly not the .0000001% increase in humidity that having wet hair in a room would cause. It's okay. Relax. Breathe.
If you have a digi, why do you need to guess or just get close? Why not use it to measure out 25g exactly?I have a probably dumb question.
What are y'all using to measure the SN with? I have a digital scale. Guess I'm going to scoop some out of the container with a spoon and dump it on the scale to get as close to 25g as possible, and then dump it into a glass with 50mL water?
Kind of dumb I know
what youll want to do is measure the container first then reset the scale with the container still on it. that should only measure the SNI have a probably dumb question.

A better way to do it would be to wait until he's ready to use it, weigh the glass he's going to use, zero out the scale, then add SN until it reads 25g. No?what youll want to do is measure the container first then reset the scale with the container still on it. that should only measure the SN
dont remove the container at all during this process. it will mess it up
thats basically what i said just if you dont move the container during the whole process until your done you dont have to subtract the container amount from the SN amount. if you remove the container to add the SN when you put it back on it will add the container weight as wellA better way to do it would be to wait until he's ready to use it, weigh the glass he's going to use, zero out the scale, then add SN until it reads 25g. No?
Just to clarify, the bottle itself is the airtight container right? The bottle is also in a plastic wrap, it's the same brand as yours I believe.Like I said, I totally understand being concerned about the SN keeping its potency. But the bottom line here is really simple...if its in an airtight container, its not exposed to air. So the conditions in the air (like humidity) outside of the bottle would have no effect on the substance inside. If its in a baggie or something, put the baggie in a tupperware container. Problem solved.

Yeah, its airtight and comes "factory" sealed. If you have LW, it would be easy to tell if the contents have been exposed to the humidity...its less than half a percent of anti-caking agent, so if there's any humidity at all inside the bottle, you'll see clumping. Also, it would be trying to cling to the sides of the bottle. If you tap your bottle and see no clumps and don't see it trying to stick to the bottle, its absolutely fine. Don't stress out about this.Just to clarify, the bottle itself is the airtight container right? The bottle is also in a plastic wrap, it's the same brand as yours I believe.
Thank you. One more thing: Is your LW more square-like and small than the picture for it?Yeah, its airtight and comes "factory" sealed. Yep!Thank you. One more thing: Is your LW more square-like and small than the picture for it?
Sorry, it shouldn't sticking to the side of the bottle at all? Cause it is...Yep!
A little bit of sticking is normal because it wasn't packaged in a microchip factory, I'm sure. Static electricity is a factor. The point is, if you bought it from LW and the factory seal is still on the bottle, its absolutely fine. I meant if there were clumps sticking to the sides of the bottle, not a tad bit of residue. Nobody is going to be able to reassure you 100%, you're just gonna have to accept a little bit of uncertainty about it, my friend. Way of the world.Sorry, it shouldn't sticking to the side of the bottle at all? Cause it is...
