Is SN safe to store? After I buy it I won't use it immediately and I'd probably keep it in the luggage of my car. Would the heat be a problem?

If you don't open it. There shouldn't be any problems.

Careful if the temperature outside fall under 0. Even in a trunk, the SN won't like it I think.

You can store it, but I wouldn't do that in your car. Well, it depends where you live I guess, but do you know what the inside temperature of a car is when temperatures rises? Or how cold it can get when it's freezing?

Maybe a thermic box? Like those for food

I'm going to seal My SN into another large zip loc bag then put that in a wine cooler before the extreme heat and humidity hit here of summer. Just my opinion but i think SN needs to be kept in a sealed, dry, cool, dark place and not opened away from humid places like the bathroom. SN should be kept in under 25 degrees celcius imo.

anyone know if a few hours in a 40C+ environment damage my SN (sealed bottle)? (The transportation truck is very warm)

I don't think so. It would have to be immersed in tempatures like that for a long while. As long as its not opened or exposed to direct sunlight, it should be ok.

thanks for the reply!

I think I'm being paranoid but does anyone know what does a flammable sticker mean in SN bottle?

Means it potentially can be ignited if not handled properly. I suggest reading Stan's Guide throughly. Nothing super dangerous, just simple things to prevent an accident.

Do you think 25C+ is okay to store it in? The range for what's considered room temperature is typically 25 at the max.

Again, yeah, as long as it is in a dark place away from sunlight. Should be good for 3 years if left unopened.

Thank you! I read the guide but couldn't find anything about flammability.
I am just worried because I read:
"SN may react explosively with hydrocarbons"
"SN may ignite combustibles (wood, paper, oil)"

I guess I am also being a bit paranoid

Basically, when you weigh it out, make sure it doesn't contact the metal surface. Put a plastic bag or such on topand pour it on there. Oh, and use a plastic cup. Never metal.

Is storing it in a metal box okay though?
