Do you ever wish you could trade places with someone here just to see if your lives/problems are a better fit for each other?
I'm looking at your post and all I'm thinking is "Germany must be a great place to live though; I've watched so many travel-shows about it. So pretty. Tons of solar power, that sexy accent. The Black Forest, the Audobahn. I should go to Germany."
Or England, Scotland, Russia. Wherever.
I know every place really sucks though. Every place is just full of people. I think I'm more drawn to places where I don't speak the local language. I can finally have an excuse for being unable to make myself understood. I only know one German word and it's the only one I would need to explain myself: "kaput".

Sure. I planned to hang myself (full Suspension) last night and found the place where I wanted to ctb packed with people. I've been there several times when nobody was there. Just on the day when it really counted

Also, the welfare system will potentially keep you alive for a long time, even if you've lost the will to do it yourself.

I get that feeling too. I live in Australia and of course we have no neighbours on the continent. It's always been an unattainable dream to go to Europe. So many cultures and beautiful people and history.

But then I remember that it doesn't matter where you go, people at their core are all the same. It's all a rat race in the end...
