Help Stab off chest or neck

I often see people on the forum warning each other not to cut themselves, but on the lostallhope site I see that the "stab of chest" and "cut throat" methods (that's a blow to the neck, right?)

I understand these aren't the best methods, but if at some point my only option is to stab myself… Is there anywhere I can read about how to do that?
For example: I'm considering these options for when I have only a knife in my arsenal, no access to other methods, and have to end my life due to severe suffering—how can this be done...

I've thought about this myself for a long time. I think actual cutting would be almost impossibly difficult, your best bet would probably be a very sharp machete or butcher's cleaver and to hack it into the side of your neck with one swift blow, as powerful as you can manage, with the goal of severing the carotid artery and bleeding out. With a really sharp machete you can cut down a small tree in one blow, or behead another person, which of course is much easier due to the angle than to do it to yourself, you can't put as much power behind it. But you should be able to cut deeply enough to sever the artery.

About stabbing, it would probably be best with a really big, sturdy and sharp sword. You sometimes hear about medieval knights and such, "he threw himself into his sword." I'd imagine, the handle of the sword against the floor and you throw yourself down on it with your full body weight so that it enters your chest and heart, probably best from below the ribs. I'm certainly not an expert on this though.

You think a rate of 58,6 or 51.1 percent is fairly high? We are a different beast. I'm looking 85% at least, otherwise why bother trying. I'd rather spend my time and resources finding the succesful way, even if it means trying to order a whole bunch of narcotics off the DW. Hehe.

Anyway, if you'd wanna go this route I suggest you study anatomy.

I heard you if you manage to slit the right side of your neck in right place, you cant have your chin up anymore and its light out in ~30 seconds. must be artery by the description tho. but it's going to be painful.
