German politicians oppose the constitution to make assisted suicide nearly impossible

I am mad, angry, sad and just overwhelmed by this fucking bullshit. I read it some days ago but it seems to be way worse than I initially thought. The more I read the more it fucks me up. I am so annoyed and angry by that. Here is a very good article in German language...

2020 there was a groundbreaking highest court judgement in favor of assisted suicide in Germany. But practically the effects were rather minor. There was a campaign of high politicians and the media to block new changes despite the fact the highest court ruling clearly suggested something else. I felt pretty tricked and I was pretty disappointed.

Isn't it only for people with a lethal illness thus far? I think the same groups that blocked in my country could block for reasonsable laws in your country. But Germany is a special case due to our history and relationship with euthanisia.

I meant similar groups not literally the same groups. Conservatives, religious groups and in general pro lifers in media and politics.

I think there Was a large media campaign where many actors were involved before the voting of the bill.
