I just tasted the Sodium Nitrite. It tastes purely like salt. The grains of SN felt bit irritating to the taste buds. It feels like the grains are absorbing deep into the tongue. After 15 minutes of spitting I feel sore taste buds.

I just tasted a salt solutio, about ten g in a tiny cup, did not care for very accurate measurement as such. It was actually nice. But then I love salt a lot.

Did it behave like regular salt to your tongue?

I love salty broth so this shouldn't be a problem for me. In fact, it's almost too perfect.

I'll have to keep that in mind when I CTB (pretending it's just broth)... any idea if we can use warm water?

SN dissolves in water very well just like ordinary salt. 100ml of water will be enough for 25g of SN. Room temperature water will work fine. No need for warm water. However, SN dissolves faster in warm water.

Just got mine today and tasted a bit, like 1/8 teaspoon.

Tastes fine. Just a little salty. Nice even.

A bigger dose is just gonna be saltiness.

Edit: woah this feels weird. I only had the tiniest bit. Yeah I can feel... this would definitely kill someone if taken enough.

Can you explain why you feel that way? As in you were able to feel that it would definitely kill someone if taken enough. What did it make you feel like after trying it?

I haven't opened my bottle. But I think I might put some Nutella in my mouth after the SN to mask the taste, if I go with SN.

Yeah I could feel my body affected for sure. Heart having to work harder, strange feelings in my brain and just a feeling of a big dose of this would totally overwhelm my body.

Y'know, if this Nutella meme keeps up I have a feeling that it'll eventually become associated with death in a similar way that Kool-Aid is, lol.

Kool-Aid is an American thing. Personally I will always associate death with old Volvo cars after I heard a story about a neighbour of mine, who apparently gassed himself to death by running his car in his garage. I don't know if the story is true.

Be careful. Opening up the jar or bag or whatever you have it in can expose the SN to air which can make it not lethal anymore. You ought keep it sealed as long as possible.

Thank you for the information. I wanted to try this with table salt. Maybe add a couple of shots of hot sauce because people say it burns the throat.

I really wonder how peaceful this way is. it seems like this method induces all the physical symptoms of a massive panic attack... the data on this method is all over the place. I would imagine a person could endure it if it didn't last long, but some of these time tables shows 12 minutes before you are unresponsive, and who knows how much longer you are aware...

Everyone here seems to be looking for a quick pain free way out... but is that even possible? Life has caused us so much pain that we seek oblivion. But with survival instincts and anxiety response maybe there is no easy way out... this SN method scares the heck out of me, maybe I am just not "well read" on how it works, but it seems like it could be incredibly painful, or at the least terrifying.

I'm used to eating spoons of salts thanks to frat hazing. Seems to finally pay off!

I drank 25g of table salt in 50ml of water yesterday to train myself before taking SN and was awful. I had to puke. Didnt take AE. But I drank 15g of table salt in 50ml of water and it was OK. Didnt have any trouble. Think I will take 15g of SN.

I don't know where you heard that, but it shouldn't burn.
