Does your uni have a careers office? Sometimes they have a special job seeking site that you can login to using your uni credentials, and you will have access to a wider range of positions to apply for in comparison to the normal job advertisement listing. Typically these offices can also arrange mock interviews for you and look over your CV.
I might go to the students union and use the careers service/jobshop sometime in the future. I got an interview for a role with a homelessness charity but was rejected :(
What's your major/desired field? Uni career services will help a ton if you want something specific to your skillset.
If you're doing something in business/management, you can try online career fairs and networking events. If you're in STEM, reddit helps a lot by posting specific advice to the field. Some people will share links to fellowships and other opportunities too.
If you've never worked before I recommend applying anywhere and working wherever takes you! You never know, it could be a good learning experience and help your resume too. Remember rejections for jobs usually have little to do with your value as a human being. Sometimes they need to interview outside candidates and end up hiring an internal person. Maybe needs changed at the last minute, or someone else just had more availability. Keep chugging along, good luck ♡

I might can help with a comparison. Due to my bipolar disorder my last 3 attempts failed abysmally to work. It is very very likely I won't be able to work normal my whole life. I am still pretty young. I am quite sure I gonna ctb due to that. I cannot do anything against that just wait till poverty will kill me. (and my other issues). Yay!
Politics is I think compared to many other subjects not that bad. I know friends of mine who study way worse subjects when it comes to jobs.

May I ask what the worry is? Do you need the money? Is it the fear of rejection? Or is it anxiety?

Not sure how you're going to do politics when you have anxiety that bad.
Finding the first job after graduating is always the hardest part of the career. You need to apply maximum effort. Don't apply for just one job, apply for 100 jobs and see what options you have. If you rely on that one job opportunity and it doesn't work out, you might find yourself getting stuck in graduate unemloyment, and the longer you are stuck, the harder it is to take the next step. Get yourself as many opportunities as possible. Landing a job you don't entirely like after graduation is acceptable, after one or two years you'll be much more attractive for the good jobs than someone who ended up with a gap in the resume because of pickiness.

The worry is being independent/self-sufficient. I have severe anxiety & depression. Of course, that never helps.
I'm so sorry you feel this way. I know the anxiety and depression won't help but I think a lot of people worry about going out on their own and being self-sufficient, so you're not alone. Best advice I can give is to try not to get discouraged as there is a possibility that it will take time to find a job, trust me I've applied to so many places and never even heard back. Try to keep your head up and moving forward, eventually you will find something, I have faith in you.
Volunteering is a good entry point for the charity sector and could lead to employment. You might have done some already - if so, excuse me...
The other good way possible to go into the charity sector is through charity specialist recruitment agencies. Harris Hill (if they still exist), the website Charity Job, there are more specialist agencies out there.
You have to just keep applying for jobs - and also you did very well to get to interview stage, so keep your hope up.
