  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

After seven years of being a burned out, I suddenly stumbled upon this.. job. It's weird. Like I'm trying to back to society..

My nerves are all fried up but I hope I can hold it down for at least a year or two. Workmates are probably bullies, and my neurodivergent ass have a lot of adjusting to do. I would also be far away from home. I would be living alone. It scares me but also excites me weirdly enough?

After a major mental crash 1 year ago, I was prescribed new meds that kinda works for me..

And a month after I just... suddenly out of nowhere started handing out resumes. Sometimes I wonder if I took it earlier, maybe my life would be better.

Sorry, this post is all over the place like my thoughts are. I'm just panicking cause "new thing" happening. I hope its a brand new start and not just another failure of mine.

If you are new to moving to a new town for work, you may want to consider the two things you will need for a new apartment are toilet paper and a shower curtain.

If you aren't going to be working much overtime, you may want to consider what you can fill your extra time with. Sometimes volunteer work lets you meet people in a low impact way because there is some task at hand.

best of luck with it, will def take some getting used to after being off for that long and it'll probably be hard at times. It's fair to be panicking about it.
Hold out, and I hope it'll go as okay as it can.

I agree, volunteering helps. 8 years ago was my start to sobriety (I've always been suicidal, had nothing to do with drinking). I joined the Red Cross to keep my "idle hands" busy, and it really did change my life. 12 hours days helping at shelters keeps your mind busy trust me!
