In terms of an antiemetic, does Dramamine work? I cannot get a script, so am just looking for other options. Any otc ideas for an antiemetic?
Thank you.

Dramamine (aka gravol, dimenhydrinate) works by decreasing stimulation related to the ear, which helps sense balance. It is effective for treatment of nausea related to vertigo, motion sickness, or other causes of nausea related to balance and the ear. Unfortunately it is not considered effective for nausea relating to stomach discomfort.

What you need is a dopamine receptor antagonist, such as metoclopramide. It is definitely more difficult to get, but some threads state they have been able to convince doctors by saying they feel nauseous all the time or have a sensitive gag reflex and vomit when they brush their teeth.

Thank you. A doctor is out of the question, but I am going to do a bit of research and see what I come up with. And I know it's more likely it won't work if you don't take an antiemetic, but I might just have to do it without one. Thank you for your knowledge.
