So I found this info on a university thesis, it's the recommended dose per kilogram following the instructions of the FDA. I don't know if this information is already published on the thread of SN guide here, but I hope it will be helpful to some of us.

S. Nitrite Maximum dose per kilogram according to FDA 200 milligrams per kilogram.

11554

And if you are unable to buy S.nitrite, and you can only buy nitrate, the maximum dose is 500milligrams per kilogram.

11555

I'm sorry about the info which is in Spanish.

And this is the information of the FDA report:

11556

You do realise that these are the legally acceptable quantities allowed in foods when used as a preservative?

Or you can beef yourself up a bit :pfff:

I'll leave the pork joke for someone else. If anyone can come up with a duck joke, I'll take my hat off to them.

No disrespect intended to the OP. I'm sure you posted this with the best of intentions, but those of us suffering from depression sometimes need a bit of humour to get us through the day. I hope you can understand.

Yeah I know that no one wants to be fried or roasted xd. But maybe this could help someone to calculate his/her dose depending on his/her weight. I'm not shure, but maybe if you multiply the maximum dose per two or three.....

Mmmm... I calculated, according to.my weight, my recommended dose is 87 grams xD. Well someone will find it helpful, I'm shure xd.

Forget the 87 grams, it's incorrect.
_________________________correct way:
Multiplying it (200x3)x72.5kg [I was using pounds instead of kg]. So my correct recommended dose is = 45,300mg or 45.3grams to get preserved xd. But if I divide it by two, the dose is = 22.65

Good to know i'll still be edible when they find me. Might even leave a note - cops are not normally vegetarians.

I'm really sorry to disappoint you, but it is literally impossible to use this information to calculate the lethal dose of SN required to ctb based on your weight.

These values represent the maximum concentrations allowed in various meat products as a preservative that are safe for human consumption. They vary depending on the type of meat. The 2nd column in each table refers to sausages sold in Guatemala. Nothing in the data takes into consideration the weight of the human consuming them.

PPeH currently suggests 15g, and that's overkill just to be sure. It used to be 5g, then I think it was upped to 7g, then 12g before 15g was recommended.

So is 15 grams enough for even someone who weighs 350 pounds? Or should I do 20?

Too little. Should be the 25-30g range imo. 25g I probably fine but there's little info in such weights.

Yeah I know it, but you just need to be creative. I know that 15g is the recommended dose, but this is how I calculated my dose according to my weight:

"_________________________correct way:
Multiplying it (200x3)x72.5kg [I was using pounds instead of kg].
So the correct recommended dose for me is = 45,300mg or 45.3grams to get preserved. But if I divide it by two, the dose is = 22.65 grams".

I wrote it on my second reply.
