Discussion SN vs Sodium azida?

I want to know your opinion, although it is true that SN is a very popular method, I have already read the pph and I see that sodium azide is more effective, although it seems to be more painful and dangerous to handle, the question is which one would you choose and why what? SN or sodium azide?

I can't get azide where I live. Azide is guaranteed to be fatal but can be much less peaceful and I believe may take longer, not sure. Since it's not an option for me, I stopped researching it, so I never fully weighed out the pros and cons between the two.

I would use nitrite myself. The azide can be dangerous to others.
