Finally. This forum was so depressing for the last few days.
Serious note: If you survive an SN attempt, and they pump you up with meth blue, you can live normally afterwards, but timing and the efficacy of doctors treating you can vary. You may be peeing blue for awhile, your kidneys could get damaged where you'll need dialysis, and/or you have heart issues especially arrythmia (sp?). The administration of meth blue causes the heart issues, not the SN.

What is meth blue used for in medicine, other than being an antidote for SN? I am not certain they have it in my hospital, in case I take SN and change my mind.

Problem is that SN has become a topic of huge misinformation, particularly over the last year or so.
Not saying op has deliberately done it but posts like this need a source, otherwise they scare the shit out of people. One of People's biggest fear is surviving a ctb attempt as a vegetable.
SN has been massively studied on this site and there is so much reliable info on here that members have spent hours compiling.
Urinary tract infections and methemoglobinemia. UTIs are more common than the latter.

That person was grossly incorrect.
Btw, a lot more is known about SN now than in 2018. I've read through a lot of the forum, and I personally wouldn't pay attention to anything on SN prior to mid-2019, because by then there had been enough anecdotal accounts to combat the kind of hyperbole in the quote.
