SORRY FOR THE WEIRD-ASS TITLE I DIDNT KNOW WTF TO NAME THIS

So recently I've been hearing, members from the UK have been getting welfare checks because of DMC so I'm wondering...are the other SN sources fucked???
I really don't want a check.
It's gonna ruin me...and then my parents are gonna be even more mad (yes I'm still living with my parents)

In my country you need to tell in the customs declaration what's inside the package. You choose from different categories. I believe that SN will fall into the "chemicals" category, and that the customs will pay closer attention to packages labeled as such. I don't think DMC's customer info has been leaked, resulting in the police visits – rather I think that the packaging looks suspicious and the police arrives for two reasons: both suspected drugs and suicide.

This was just some wild speculation to be taken with a grain of salt. I hope I'm not offending anyone receiving these checks.

To answer your question, I do believe that the other sources are under closer watch too, since they're not that hard to find (all the domains are in plaintext and the acronyms are being shared here too).

Note: I'm not British but this probably applies to all Western countries.

Hi, I just edited my original post, added some context. I'm based in the EU. DMC isn't shut down but right now I wouldn't recommend ordering as there are some issues with the payment. If you like, I can DM you another SN source that requires a bit more research into. It might still be able to slip through the cracks but no guarantees.

Not sure if im doing motivated reasoning because im pretty much begging this is the case, but surely the website being taken down is what caused mailing lists to be leaked and then the welfare checks? Good point but can we be sure that the customer details were really leaked to LE? Maybe the hosting website just felt like closing this store.

Then again, it seems unlikely that the shutting down of DMC, welfare checks and Ofcom's shit are 100% unrelated. But for now, the Europeans among us can let out a sigh of relief because this is only happening in the UK, but we need to beware as well – Europol is probably looking into SN as well.

But I ordered from new site and got a welfare check and package confiscated at post office

I hear you. I haven't slept properly since I heard the news of these checks. I have nightmares about police showing up. If I lived alone I wouldn't mind too much, but I live with my abusive partner and if he finds police at the door I'll get kicked out and made homeless immediately.. since he does not tolerate my MH and would not want the hassle of all this.
I pray I get missed off the 'list'
I didn't order from DMC so there's a bit of hope I won't get a check for now

Someone who received a check here, literally an hour from writing. Yes, they are aware of what is inside the packages. Anyone who has ordered from DMC is at risk and will have a welfare check carried out (at least from the looks of things.) I ordered 6 months ago, so a decent while ago, and yet I had my check today.

Sorry, should have elaborated. Am in the UK, yeah. As far as I know it's basically just UK citizens so far, although I think I saw one post down the feed of someone in Canada? Not sure though. Anyways, seems like 99% of them are us UK peeps.
