Hello, I'm currently looking to source SN, I found 500gr for around 7 dollars, but the seller says that it's technical grade SN
The seller also mentioned that food grade SN can be hard to source (I tried to source some, but sellers are only willing to sell if you buy over 200kg)
Can technical grade grade can still be used? Thanks in advance

the answer is yes.

you probably mean "laboratory grade", or technical grade, which are the same thing.

both work well. just make sure that the purity is at least 95% and that it's sodium nitrite (not nitrate).

Stan answers that in his guide. if you read his guide or the PPH, you probably would know the answer already.
