I finally received my SN from the European seller on a certain well-known website. It took six weeks to arrive (within Europe). I was worried that it had been intercepted by customs.
My first thought upon inspecting the container is that this is a "serious" chemical poison - there are multiple danger warnings printed on the label. This is not something that you can just buy at your local store, and it should be handled with caution and with respect. It is a risk to human and animal life - please be careful with this stuff.
I shook the container and could hear that the powder has formed clumps. This is something that others on here have reported, so I am not too concerned about it.
Due to some improvements in my personal circumstances I am no longer feeling suicidal, and I think that I am beginning to turn the page on what has been a very dark period in my life. So - I am not planning to CTB anytime soon with this SN. But I feel good about having this chemical on standby should I need it in the future. My plan is therefore to vacuum-pack the bottle to prevent any further moisture absorption - and hide it away for long-term storage. I will not even attempt to open the container - I will just have to trust that the supplier is a reputable company. I am also glad to have obtained the SN now, because I am expecting the sale to be regulated in the future - due to its popularity as a CTB method and recent reporting in the media.
I wish I could also easily get hold of N for long-term storage, but for now the SN is my insurance policy.
