From what I understand, 50g is more than enough. You also need to take bodyweight into account, but as long as you're not huge it should be more than enough.

Only way you'll know is to do a purity test (either blood-spot or nitrite test strip).

It sure is enough, but if you have more money left I suggest you buy an aquarium test to see if it is really pure enough
