  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I am definitely being paranoid but I since I saw a flammable sticker on SN bottle I am scared. I read stan's guide but couldn't find anything about fire.

I am just worried because I read:
"SN may react explosively with hydrocarbons"
"SN may ignite combustibles (wood, paper, oil)"

does igniting combustibles mean if a paper or wood is near it it will cause a fire? And can someone explain what does react explosively mean?

Thanks and I'm so sorry for being paranoid.

Google is your friend -

'Sodium Nitrite is not combustible, but it is a STRONG OXIDIZER that enhances the combustion of other substances. Use water only. DO NOT USE dry chemical, Halon® or CO2 as extinguishing agents.'

Thanks for the reply, so basically there has to already be a fire for it to be dangerous. It's fine if I put my SN bottle in a wooden drawer?
