So if someone wanted a way to reverse this without calling for help would activated charcoal work. I know it's reversible but honestly ending up in a psych ward seems worse. The only side effect I care about is the mental confusion one. Being out of your mind is scary and it becomes worse as your bp drops and brain swelling begins (personal experience from hyponatremia). I thought others might want to know too about the charcoal.

Charcoal won't work. Methylene blue is the antidote for SN. It has to be administered intravenously, so after hospitalization, a stay in the psych ward would be likely.
