Silly small favour request (internet)

I closed my Facebook account a while ago, realizing that it was not helping me (no use). Before, no problem.

I need to join a support group, existing only on this platform, for a rare medical condition that I have, in order to discuss, possibly meet people in my situation. Optionally, also a fitness one about a training method just bought.

So I tried to re-register on Facebook, impossible! My registration was screened with my real identity card, to be rejected, banned permanently without explanation or possibility of appeal. In this case, no recourse is possible and there is nothing and no one to contact.
Since then, no way. I am filtered away, defeated.

I even tried a fake account through a proxy to initiate the creation. On a blank account, the ability to add friends was restricted. By persisting, that account was blocked again.

To get around the arbitrary restriction, I tried my luck outside, with public WiFi, a brand new freshly bought device (never used before), new email, newly invented name, everything not to be detectable. Ditto, impossible to register, immediate ban, before I get to any stage ... incomprehensible! The only flaw that I notice in my approach, having used an identical password ?! ...disturbing

In normal times, I would gladly open fire on this tyranny but rather I need a solution. Tried various attempts since 10 days and it's getting on my nerves.

If someone who has no intention to use Facebook in the future can contact me, I'd like you to register an account for me, add a profile picture plus a few random friends, join 2 groups. For the purpose, I will provide you all details (email, name, picture) but need an unrelated environnement to process cause I'm clueless about which tracer they put on my back.
After some time and confirmation the registration is successfully unlocked, pass me the commands back. From here, I'll use a VPN from home to conceal my IP & cross fingers. Thanks in advance...

I dont see why you had so many problems. Is that a new thing. Both me and husband had over 10 facebook accounts, for work, family and privacy reasons. We just made them at the same night. We never used same names though. Its just random restaurant menu meals.. However did that pass facebook screeinings

Me neither, so this is very upsetting. Like I said before, it worked for me, since years.
To be honest, it seems I committed a single error in their eyes. When I rejoined, I used a pseudonym instead of my own name, not paying attention, which I learned is in fact against their policy. From there, ran into unfixable troubles.
Soon after, they requested a verification, which was a first, so I gladly complied, submitting my real name (corrected) / ID / photo, etc. So I was expecting to pass this step without a hassle and that's it. But for some reason they decided otherwise. Now I'm doomed and they apply monitoring locks I'm unaware of, which I fail to circumvolve.

Thanks for the offer, but since you already use the service, I wouldn't want you to run into issues by my fault. I'd prefer a member who is a Facebook virgin and plans to remain so, otherwise there's a risk to run into conflicts that alerts them ? Don't wanna propagate the fire I started but thanks again. Anyone else ?

the fact that Facebook can't get around that people using their given names can be harmful is so disturbing. what if they're being stalked by an abuser? what if they want to be known as Bob instead of Ashley? with gender stuff it's nothing more than painful to be told over and over again that your fact of life, I am not my gender at birth, is a wrong opinion.

I had tried creating an account under a different name before and ran into the issues you did. even tried with my real name and had to submit different paperwork twice proving it was me until I was not banned.

I wonder if it has to do with where you live. I have 2 accounts that I use daily and 1 doesn't have my real name. I also have 2 previous accounts and one of them wasn't accurate either but never ran into a problem. Of course it didn't let me use one that was clearly a fake name that might be a problem too. Besides how is fb suppose to know your actual name that kinda crosses privacy lines. Of course from my understanding Canada is REALLY big on privacy so maybe that's just a Canadian thing.

My error must have been that my pseudonym didn't really look like a name but an invention. Maybe filters are applied. Otherwise, I registered both (real & pseudo) at the same place, home. But several members of a same family could use the same computer & internet access so that's not where the problem lies.

I tried to make a spoof fb account once and it required confirmation by text message. They really don't like anyone not using their real name these days, though I think in the past it was easier.

There were definitely less control checkpoints in the past. Right, about SMS verification, I'm ready to use a burner SIM card. And now I'm the unproud owner of a fake ID acquired on the darknet for 50 bucks. Gosh, it's like I'm on a spy mission while we're only talking about frigging facebook. Just because I have the idea to cure/treat myself and I'm not let by invisible unaccountable locks. Tsk tsk. It should be made dead easy and censorship free pff. The Orwellian times thicken.

I do however, have two Twitter accounts and many many Gmail accounts, as you need a separate email addy for every area of your life. Interestingly, I no longer use Facebook.

Went to a cybercafe. Was immediately blocked, prolly because people had passed before me so a conflict of multi-accounts against a single IP is detected. Unlocked easily by SMS verification. Then was blocked again after adding a friend of mine. Consequentely, had to submit further identification, now waiting for approval but it was marked there really isn't anymore employees devoted at this task of verifying profiles. Before they were warning about delays due to Covid already but now it's even stated it might not be processed at all.

I'm hypothetising that I shouldn't add friends before I fill in somewhat the profile with pics and posts, cause that's the second time I'm banned following adding friends (common action) on a blank profile. Likely there's an abuse filter against stalkers/harassers in place.

I'm wondering something, though. When you delete your account, doesn't it stay locked for at least a month before they pull the plug? Because I remember years ago that I was able to reactivate my account within a few weeks after I deactivated it. Have you tried this?

Drove 1h30 to the nearest internet cafe not closed by Covid restrictions, and instead of being validated, my brand new identity verification has been rejected once again, always for the same motive about "not meeting their community standards". It didn't work out, my account was banned also. Funny how FB is full of fake news and political propaganda, but using a fake name to register gets you banned as soon as you interact with the site. I'm sorry I couldn't get it to work for you

Well, good luck, I hope you get what you need.

I don't use Facebook or Amazon anymore. I've never used Apple products. I do use Windows though I'd stick to Linux if I didn't have to use Windows for specific third party design software. Much to my chagrin, I use Android and have Google accounts, though I'm tempted to nix all that and load Ubuntu on my devices, or at least test it on one.
I used to accept them data mining me as just one of the consequences of being so connected, but recently I feel like a stranger in a strange land.
