It's a yes for me personally. I want to stay alive for my parents and I think they deserve that. They don't deserve to lose a child. They are good people. It can get really intense for me personally to know I will be waiting a few decades, but I just don't want to cause them pain so I'll keep trying. Do no harm is now I want to approach my life. If my parents were abusive I wouldn't stay around for them though. Everyone is going to feel different about this especially regarding their own families, and it's all valid imo.

Depends.. what you are obligated to do is your best to fix yourself and your life. If that's not possible, then at that point "you're free to go" in my opinion.

I think most of the time, my family was not alive for me, or didn't want to be alive for me. I don't think I should be, but I try the best I can. But when I no longer be able to keep going, I'll not be here anymore, no matter their feelings...
