I wonder if that would serve any purpose at all.

Such an event would draw more unwanted attention to suicidal people, which would involve even more judgment and idiotic arguments against the cause.

As a form of protest, it would backfire and slow the process of making euthanasia legal.

As a show, or a way of sending a message or making a statement, it would be a worthy spectacle to witness all the shit storm that would come afterwards. Though it wouldn't do much more..

Sounds completely counter-productive and undesirable.

No, because that was more like a mass murder event than a willing suicide pact. A lot of those people didn't even want to die, but Jones gave them no alternative. Even if the pact was willing the media would no doubt just paint it in an unflattering light.

I don't post often and I don't know what else you've posted in the past but this sounds like something a person would say to bait people on this forum. It's something a member of LE might do in order to use to get SS deplatformed. I'm not saying you are either. I see you've deleted the post down to a period but from reading the replies and your title I can safely assume the context. I think it's risky being so public about it but I understand the sentiment. Some, like myself, have to do it alone and I hate that I'm going to be alone. So I understand the question. It could be a trap as well.
