HelpShould I postpone jumping to perfect ligature strangulation/partial hanging?

Seems that ligature strangulation and partial hanging both aim to block your carotid arteries and cause fainting in a few seconds to a few minutes. I'm trying it today. Hope it works. Otherwise, I am jumping from approximately a 10 meter height.
We don't have the right to make decisions for you but I would heavily advise against a 10 meter drop. Statistically from that height, there is a high chance of you surviving with injuries that would make your quality of life considerably worse. Furthermore, a failed attempt would likely make it harder to try again.
Please reconsider. If you are set on jumping is there any higher options available? The last thing we'd want would be more suffering for you.

ligature strangulation is a famously unsuccessful method, sorry. i tried it myself a few times, but it doesn't work or even make someone go unconscious. the person that came up with the ligature strangulation method ctbed from full suspension. the only person on video that succeeded died slowly and painfully from asphyxiation. it doesn't constrict your carotids enough.
partial suspension is difficult to succeed with because it's hard for someone to find their arteries or really easy. it's not the same for everyone so there's no advice someone can give. and you can wake up from passing out from partial because your body changes positions while unconscious instead of staying still. @Tomorrow Is Today mentioning that you would only sustain injuries (break bones or legs/potentially paralyzing yourself) from 10 meters is important, even if there aren't any higher places you can jump from. it's better to not jump from that height at all if you would be forced to stay in the hospital involuntarily afterwards. i think you should look into different methods. i wasted multiple days trying to practice both partial suspension and ligature strangulation and i'm still here.

Hey did you suffer from any brain damage or stuff from the ligature method? Does it cause alot of noise? Like I might test it out a bit cuz I think I've got a hold of it, the problem is tho I dont want the testing to cause brain damage cuz that'll cause alot of problems. Anyways, if you did get brain damage, what exactly was it? Also how long did u put the ligature on before you knew it was not gonna work. Sorry for the plethora of questions lol but I really need this to work

no i didn't get brain damage. how would i even know that? read the ligature strangulation thread if you want to research it if you're a new account. it doesn't make noise because it compresses your throat and chokes you. you only get (potential) brain damage from full suspension hanging, because it deprives your brain of oxygen. ligature strangulation fails because you're still able to breathe.

I tried to jump but the fear just made me keep gagging the entire day after I looked at the ground from the balcony. I just couldn't do it. I'm trying to get ahold of SN instead
