Good question. This is a topic belonging in British tabloid, Facebook, Twitter. Or other online "safe places". There people can knock, mock and determine our fate.
What the hell? This was way over my head. I meant pets, of course! And they should rule this planet and be worshipped like Gods!! But always glad to learn something new. Thanks, I suppose.
PS: That girl in the parking lot with the black furry tail, was that a furry?
If I may ask, what are "furries"? If you are talking about pets, a 100% yes. They are a part of not only family but of this existence, but they are so loving, loyal and downright cutie.
Even while I think the original poster was joking, the whole in-group vs. out-group mentality surrounding furries (/being a furry) becoming a meme kind of fucks us over.
Otherwise you might as well ask;
Should americans have human rights?
Should ethiopians have human rights?
Should brits have human rights?
Should germans have human rights?
Like c'mon dude, what are you doing?
Do not discriminate humans on invidual traits, or at all really.
You're an absolute prune if you do.

Anyone doing stuff that doesn't harm others and if it does involve others is consensual should have human rights the same as everyone else.
The concerns I guess I have with furries is the possible- not definite of course- connection with children- if there is one. If there is a sexual element to it and the furries are both consenting adults- then great- leave them to it. I suppose I wonder- seeing as anthropomorphic characters and mascot costumes are often designed to appeal to children- I wonder if any of the appeal goes in that direction in some cases. In of itself- should paedophiles have human rights? Yes- IF THEY DON'T ACT ON THEIR DESIRES. If they do though- then no- they're harming others. They have infringed the rights of others so- they should be subject to the legal repurcussions.
There was a post on here the other day about violent sexual talk in chat rooms including horrific things these guys would like to do to children. One member was defending these rooms under the right to free speech. My argument is that this kind of talk surely only intensifies and legitamizes what these people want to do. What they want to do is illegal and ruins children's/adults lives. So- by the same token- if furries are just adults with a kink- fine. If they are adults with a kink towards children- not fine.
I think it's terrible that I can't claim tigrish rights.
If I eat the young, piss against a tree or sniff posteriors, it's seen as anti-social. I hunt for meat but get security throwing me out of stores, for creeping up on deli counters and jumping into them, booya. I'm just trying to Catch The Buffalo. I cannot find an estate agent willing to give me a 50 mile area to just be 'me'.
I hate to play the discrimination card. But I think it's pertinent that a mere 0.000001%* of social legislation have been created with tigers involvement. There are little signs that will change going forward.
I don't want to throw a pity party on this. But those lions get everything they want. Even Pride is all about them. Its obvious those lefty-types have it in for us.
And no, Tigger is not our Great Ruler, he's not even a tiger, the sex maniac on springs that he is. Public perceptions are so messed up, it makes me want to lick my own private parts off.

How far should we go with such rationale? I'm autistic, and wherever I go, I bring my autistic behaviour onto those who don't consent to it. I can't help it. And many, so many don't like me for it. Shall I keep my human rights?
Seriousness aside, it's a great wind-up post. If Funeral Cry can do it and get reaction each time, then others can do, too. And do it better. Thanks for a laugh.
Not to hijack the thread, but I just think it's wild how out some people are about this. A girl in my class wants to be a vet (not gonna happen, struggling in easy classes), but I was surprised to see her wear a bright orange shirt with a fox on it proclaiming her to be a furry to the world. She's definitely a weird chick, so I wasn't completely surprised, but why would you want to run around telling everyone this?
