Shotgun to the side of the head

I'm wondering if it matters where you aim or if just a regular shot to the temple will be good enough.

Aim always matters but no one has ever survived a contact shotgun blast to the side of the head.

same the idea of shooting through the roof of the mouth always scared me
like the pain will be eternal cause it will be the last thing i'll feel while i'm conscious, the mouth is such an uncomfortable and sensitive place to shoot

but placing a shotgun to the side of the head can be tricky would be easier to use a handgun
but you're probably overthinking it you'll likely be dead before you can feel anything

i think it's a mix of them, just look at graphs of where the brainstem is, you don't want to mess this up
but with a shotgun any aiming is really optional
