In death, life echoes. In life, death calls.

So today, Charlie Kirk (a conservative commenter on the internet) was shot dead. I watched the video several times. His death was very quick. Shot in the neck by, clearly what was a sniper.
My question for you all (mainly Americans since it involves access to a gun): I live in a state where it is relatively easy to buy a weapon. I would never harm any person, animal, insect or living being except myself. If I wanted to shoot myself, I was thinking of doing it in the bathtub to minimize blood being spilled. When I watched the Charlie Kirk video, he was shot in the neck. His death was practically instantaneous.
  • Is it better to shoot yourself in the roof of your mouth so that it goes into your brain? Or your neck, like Charlie Kirk? (Neck seemed very bloody)
    • Neck or brains?
  • And is it better to use a silencer to keep the noise down?
    • Noisy or not? (are silencers legal?)
  • Does term life insurance pay out for suicide?
For context, I have no criminal record and so buying a gun wouldn't be a problem. I would buy it under the guise of wanting to practice at a shooting range and for self defense at home. A 9 mm or a pistol should be sufficient and easy to use to "unalive" myself, right?

I wish I was in Charlie Kirk's place. He has a family. I do not. That should have been me. Clean, easy death. No one would miss me that much, anyway.

I've certainly never heard of someone shooting themselves in the neck. As for the life insurance you'd need to check the policy of whatever life insurance you have. They often have policies regarding suicide (such as the insurance being voided if you commit suicide in the first year), but it's something you have to check for yourself.
