I didn't want to start a new thread just for what I want to share, but I didn't want to post .in older threads. Please post any random things you think or find. Please no videos or images though

I was looking through quotes about death. Ideas for a CTB note, reasons to die or not to, how to generally reduce suffering of the people I would leave behind. How to live with suicide ideation. I'll just share my favourite of the 300+ here:http://wisdomquotes.com/death-quotes/

I thought they should be taken on their own so no disrespect, I left out the authors,.

Maybe all one can do is hope to end up with the right regrets.

Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.

Death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be because death is very likely the single best invention of life. It is life's change agent, it clears out the old to make way for the new

You needn't die happy when your time comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from the beginning to the end

I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter

Life is hard. After all, it kills you

The idea is to die young as late as possible

It is nothing to die. It is frightful not to live

The highest tribute to the dead is not grief but gratitude

Men are never really willing to die except for the sake of freedom: therefore they do not believe in dying completely.

Losing your life is not the worst thing that can happen. The worst thing is to lose your reason for living.

Death destroys a man: the idea of Death saves him

It is the fate — the genetic and neural fate — of every human being to be a unique individual, to find his own path, to live his own life, to die his own death

Do not seek death. Death will find you. But seek the road which makes death a fulfillment

Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives.

To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest. To live fully is to be always in no-man's-land, to experience each moment as completely new and fresh. To live is to be willing to die over and over again

Dying is like coming to the end of a long novel – you only regret it if the ride was enjoyable and left you wanting more.

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

The context kind of ruins it, but I love this:
"I don't know what happens to our consciousness when we're unwound," says Connor. "I don't even know when that consciousness starts. But I do know this." He pauses to make sure all of them are listening. "We have a right to our lives!"
The kids go wild.
"We have a right to choose what happens to our bodies!"
The cheers reach fever pitch.
"We deserve a world where both those things are possible— and it's our job to help make that world."
― Neal Shusterman, Unwind

but please include the authors, if you deem a quote valuable then surely you can't remove the context. My quote is valuable but I'm not going to deny it's from a sci fi novel about harvesting organs just to make me feel better ^^
