Seeing people enjoying themselves makes me so miserable why can't I go back to that?

There is never a simple answer. Would be nice if there was a switch that can just change your mood but there unfortunately isn't one.

Right? It's overwhelmingly painful to see or hear about what you're missing out on.

It may help to identify exactly what is happening when you see someone else enjoying themselves. Do you have a sense of exactly what you're feeling? Are you angry, bitter, or sad? Understanding exactly what you're feeling and what those emotions are telling you may help shed some light on exactly why you're feeling this way, and perhaps how you can get back to enjoying things yourself.

Absolutely everthing is triggering me and I can't stand it. Even doing things that should make me feel happy still trigger bad memories. It makes life so miserable.

I relate to all of this. Like the things I'm supposed to be appreciative of existing make me feel worse. And literally everything reminds me of something that my mind interprets in a nightmarish perspective.

You need an anti-psychotic to stop those intrusive thoughts.
Treatment isn't always bad. Anhedonia is real though - and hell.
