There are things like reincarnation, heaven, hell, god etc people talk about. And I am scared... :/

I just don't want to exist and do not want to go to a heaven or hell and "live" in there. Or be reincarnated or smth.

What are your thoughts about a life after the death?
What are the things that make you believe things like this exist or don't exist?

wish u all the best and good luck with your choice <3
:)

Since you ask, I don't think any kind of afterlife exists. I think we simply stop existing at all. No consciousness, no thoughts, no self.
What are the things that make you believe things like this exist or don't exist?
For me it was various realizations about the religion I used to believe (christianity) which proclaimed the existence of afterlife. I stopped believing in it, became an atheist, and the main reason for believing in an afterlife disappeared with it as well. What also contributes to me believing there's no afterlife is the physicalist worldview, knowing how connected the brain is to consciousness, as well as the understanding for why people like and prefer the idea of afterlife as a psychological explanation of the belief's origin (rather than one based on its truth value).

I feel the same. I just want to not exist . I hope when I ctb it's just like when I fall asleep. I grew up and still believe in religion and an afterlife. That's one reason that delays my ctb among other reasons but I always believe that God has grace for us and if there is an afterlife I hope he shows us mercy. ❤️

to me, I think it's going to feel something similar like when you're asleep(I know it's sounds delusional). Like just darkness and maybe some fragments of memories or something like that. I don't completely believe in non-existence but I don't believe in an afterlife either.

I also just wish to cease existing, in fact permanent non-existence is all I ever hope for. Peace for me truly could only lie in never existing again, I just wish for peace from the cruelty and suffering of existing, under no circumstances would I wish to be burdened with this existence rather I find existing to be deeply undesirable. I only hope for all to be gone and forgotten about for me, as long as I exist I'll only ever hope for non-existence, I just wish for an eternal, dreamless sleep free from all pain and suffering, I find it painful to simply be conscious.

for me the key thing is thinking about what "life" is. We evolved over billions of years from chemicals to simple life to single-felled eukaryotes to multicellular life to basic animals to vertebrates to amniotes to mammals to primates to hominids to humans. When did we start having afterlives?

To me, the thought of bacteria or coral having an afterlife is silly. But it seems equally silly to say that we started to have an afterlife when we gained a brain, because it endows the brain with supernatural ability. So the only logical conclusion is the absence of an afterlife.
