I just cant fucking stand how easy rich peoples life are. I get that some of them might have terminal illnesses or a broken head like the rest of us,
but they dont and wont ever have to really worry about coming home and there being nothing to eat or not even having a home to come back too.
The level of stress and pain and misery that comes with not having money can drive anyone to this site I think.
Its just a whole diffrent world for them, then can do Things and afford to live a life worth living while us poor
wage slaves are stuck waiting on them fighting for whatever scraps are left. When a system is so broken, and cant be fixed what else is there to do but
leave they system? They dont even let us do that easily because misery makes profit and they need us miserable.
(Work just cut my hours in a way that I cant even get a 3rd job and rent is up 125 and food is also up even tho I shop sales and not get meat or anything I really want or is good, just the cheep shit and just urgh I hate it here)

They say money doesn't buy happiness but it would solve a shit ton of my problems.

It's only a matter of time till I can no longer afford rent, utilities, credit card debt etc. so close to being homeless. Maybe if that happens I'd have the guts to try again. But yeah it must be nice to actually have money.

Financial struggles are definitely a major contributor to a lot of people's mental health and life dissatisfaction. Even something as minor as having the means to order food in when you're exhausted is a huge relief to one's mental load. It's not that rich people can't feel depression, but that their resources can help mitigate some of the stressors when you're already down.

Having security for the future. Having retirement already accounted for. Not having to work. Not having to work under bosses or with coworkers you don't like. Complete variety of choices when it comes to vacations, cars, food, etc.

The rest of us have it infinitely tougher in comparison.

Moving back in with my mum soon. Yeah it'll be a blow to my mental health, losing my own space, but MAN the money I'm going to save is also going to do wonders for my mental health too. We'll see which side wins in the end lol

I think their ability to move around makes me the most jealous. I saw this rich girl on Instagram who grew up living in both NYC and Bermuda, now she's off to Hawaii for University, longboarding into surf shops and swimming every day. I've spent the last 2 years in a 100 mile radius around my house.

I FEEL THIS SO STRONGLY. I hate people like that and they are so unaware of how privileged they are. I haven't met many people like that irl but I see them online all the time.

You see them online all the time because that's what the platforms want you to see. It would be immensely unpopular to constantly see brokies who can't show off their 6th supercar and 8 story mansion. The first advice I always give to people who aren't rich is to stop staring at rich people all the time. Being envious all the time isn't going to make your situation any easier.

Personally, I don't discriminate when it comes to despising trashy people. They can be rich, they can be working/middle class, they can be lower class. In the end, horrible people can be from any stratum. The rich because they love to oppress the working classes and because they have the power to even eliminate anyone they want from their path. The middle/working class can be a pain in the ass if you have to "compete" with them, and their attitude, their behavior, their ways make them disgusting, annoying beings, a damn plague that only makes life miserable. How do they do it? Annoying neighbors, noisy with music in the early morning (I live in Mexico, you can imagine their mentality), people who with what they earn want to show off their lives as if they were those of the rich and seek to humiliate others in some way or boast by echoing their mediocrity, like a stupid neighbor driving by in his stupid truck, rattling the windows with the loud music he has on his little junker on wheels.
In the end, the lower class or the poor can sometimes be ironically as dangerous as any psychopath, because deep down, they have nothing to lose, and at least in my country, some will turn to crime, become drug traffickers, hitmen, or whatever takes them out of their desperation of living in poverty, even at the cost of others' lives. In the end, they're capable of kidnapping or doing whatever it takes to survive, and the victims are usually the middle/working class. The rich have the power to protect themselves from them, no matter what...

Ultimately, my writing may sound prejudiced, but it has a ring of truth in it, at least in my country. People are very shitty.

There is economic inequality
They hate the poor and the poor hate the rich. It is difficult for both sides to shake hands

Many rich people suffer from depression or fall into drugs
(there are thousands of testimonials on the internet)

I am not defending any side
I am just saying that this is the way the world is

I remember being a young adult and wanting a motorbike more then anything, I worked a 2nd job and saved and sacrificed quite a bit, it cost something more then just the cash. After I got one some punk 18 year old coworker got the the upgraded version of mine 2 weeks later and said he "just asked my dad to put it on his credit card" Pissed me off so fucking much. Thing is I fucking loved my bike, rode it all the time, lasted me years, the kid got bored of it after the summer and left out all winter and it rusted. No point to this story other then to say life is not fair and theres nothing any of us can really do about it but live in peace or die.

Looking at recent legislation, the rich people do not seem upset over this.
They can always use a few more crumbs.

How many people do you think would be alive if they had more money? not even crazy amounts but just an extra 10k or 100k? I remember reading that suicide rates droped 15% in the us the month people got covid free money checks.

It definitely is unfair

I remember having a few friends long time ago, who came from wealthy families

Their life is all set since the very beginning, just smooth sails from beginning to end

Either just waiting to take over their parent's business, or ask parents for stress-free money to start their own business if they desire. Never ever having to truly work a "real job"

Always just eat whatever they want, have huge social circles due to always having time and money to spend with people and activities. Vacations every year. Always in some chill and relaxed mood. Knowing they can just swipe their credit cards, and the transaction will be approved every time without second guessing

I remember a couple of them, would just casually go hang out and gamble at casinos, when they feel bored sometimes. Also have their own place and drive nicer cars since a young age, all paid by their parents

While I'm literally trying to save a few extra bucks here and there whenever I can. They will never ever relate, or feel the type of deep pain we feel, as broke and struggling people

As far as I'm concerned, rich people can gdiaf for all I care. Nothing of value would be lost. And society might actually vastly improve without them.

To me it is not the wealth they have, but the way they use it to oppress others, to diminish them morally (as if for some reason we are worth less because we aren't rich), or to keep them on a living or below living wage. So it is not that they have money and wealth - that is fine, as long as they have made it legally. It is about the way it is used to make life harder for others.

Amazon's owner could double the salaries of his warehouse workers and wouldn't go broke. But instead they have to pee in their pants because they don't get proper toilet breaks and work for whatever he feels like offering them in return (or the least he can get away with paying them). Wealth + lack of accountability and empathy towards others = cynicism, social disaster.

By the way, does it ever irritate you to hear all those self-made man rationalizations? Half of the world's servers are running on Linux. Google's Android is a Linux variant. How nice it is to become a self-made man/woman on the back of open source and community developed software... How convenient to forget you had teachers, doctors, nurses, shopkeepers, farmers, neighbours, friends, etc. that actually made it possible for you to become a "man" in the first place, not to mention "self-made man".
