Restart life or death forever

If you could restart your life with the same genes/ environment or choose instant death forever, what would you choose?
I think my environment was that toxic that I did not really had a chance. Running away from my parents would have been scary but maybe it would have been the best option. However I do not trust people. Some people just do not treat children the right way.
Moreover my genes are fucked up.
I think I would choose death forever.

Exactly! If I don't retain the memories, I'll never be conscious I'm restarting my life so, in that case, I'd pick to die forever and ever.

I would probably give life a second shot. When I look back on my life there have been more good times than bad times; unfortunately the good times are over for me. Besides, I can just kill myself if it ends badly again.

My genes/environment kind of suck, so even if I were to restart my life, I don't think anything would really change. I'd still end up in the same position, I'd just have to re-experience all of the crap that lead me here. At least instant death would be peaceful, and what more could I possibly ask for?

Death. Even if could limit it to the first 10 years, even if I could live another entirely different life. I don't want to be Bill Gates, Bezos, Musk, a random hippie seeing joy in the smallest things, a generic man in a generic marriage with generic children eager for more life when a heart attack takes his life at 80.

Impossible as it is, I can only hope for the second best thing: when I die, just let me fade into eternal oblivion.

What could really change if we'd have the same genes and environment? Those are two major contributing factors that impact who we become in life.

I'd probably choose death forever. No matter what, suffering is guaranteed in this life. The entire human experience is utterly exhausting and since I know what it's like to be human, I'd never want to endure this again. No matter if I could have a fresh start, make different choices, etc. Why bother? I'd still suffer.

I just don't think there would be any meaningful difference in my life if my genes and environment stayed the same. It's not a gamble I'd be willing to take just for a little bit of change to possibly occur.

I love the idea that people may want to try again. It's inspiring how many of you are willing to try again should it come up. I think I'd stay gone. Truth be told now that i know who i am it would be a waste to try it again. I'd probably offer my chance to someone else if it were an option

I would probably want to restart but end up in better environment with more supportive parents who don't treat me like shit.
Maybe being reborn in future like 2070, with all memories intact, as a 15 yo, with nice parents would be actually something that I would prefer.
Could start my life in a complete new world, make better choices and have parents, which don't behave like they do currently.
I mean, my father always acts like I'm a "friend" to him if he visits me, my grandma behaves like it's 1960 where she worked at her parents farm while she was a kid and tells that "at my age, I woke up, milked the cows, read books in my free time and then had to go to school" and also there's my mother, who freaks out over some pointless BS

I was abused in all aspects from birth, (started with emotional and mental abuse and then moved up to yea well)
