I've been seriously suicidal since 2016 and that subreddit was a godsend, it's good to have a place where you can talk about ctb without being fed with empty platitudes.

The original reddit group was pretty good. It got shut down and replaced with another one that was heavily censored. I can't blame them for taking that approach as they want to avoid getting deleted. It's just no longer the place for me.

By the time I knew about the subreddit it had already been banned. But there was one subreddit that made a sticky post saying no methods, this isn't r/sanctionedsuicide. I tried going over and saw it was banned. So I googled it trying to see what it was about and this popped up.

Me. I miss r/SS but reddit really doesn't understand that it's a basic right to be able to choose the details of your departure from existence.I was after that subreddit was closed down but came over from the other suiside related sub reddits. They were all pretty rubbish so glad I found this place. I followed a link that someone posted so thank you to that kind stranger.

You must be talking about r/TimeToGo. That subreddit is trash. The mods are power hungry and unfit for their position. r/FreeToGo is the better choice.

Also, I think I came here from TTG (before talk of alternatives got banned probably). And that I came to TTG from 8ch (already a Reddit user though).Last edited:Wonder how many of our mods are ex r/ss?
